1st Sleaford Boys Brigade

Riverside is home to the 1st Sleaford Boys' Brigade Company. The Boy's Brigade (BB) is a uniformed Christian youth organisation, with members aged from 4 to 18. We meet weekly during term time with a range of fun activities. 

Our aim is to provide opportunities for children and young people to learn, grow and discover in a safe, fun and caring environment which is rooted in the Christian faith. Nationally over 40,000 children and young people get involved every week. There’s something for every young person whether it’s camping, first aid or five a side, music or crafts.

There are four sections within our Boys Brigade:

Anchor Boys for boys aged 5 to 7
Junior Section for ages 8 to 10
Company Section for ages 10 to 15
Seniors for the over 15's

During 2003 we went to Kenya as part of an Brigades exchange that we had initiated, and have been back several times since. The Boys' Brigade forms part of our local Brigade Band.
