Time for Tots

This is a new group for pre-school children and their carers, which started in November 2009.  It grew from our successful Bobby Dazzlers group that hundreds of children have enjoyed.  Time for Tots is taking this work in a new direction, though, one that is more open about the faith that underpins the work.

Each week, there is a varied programme of activities, including nursery rhymes, a Bible story, some craft related to the theme for the week, then refreshments and free play with toys.  There is no charge for attending Time for Tots, but it is essential for carers (parents, grandparents, childminders, etc.) to stay with the children.

Time for Tots meets on Thursdays during the school term from 10-11:30am, and new children are always welcome.

Time for Tots Toddler Service

On the first Thursday of each month (again, during school term-time, and again from 10-11:30am) the programme is different.  The session starts with some simple songs for the children to learn about God and begin to praise Him.  After this there will be a story from the Bible, perhaps supported with some craft afterwards to help the children remember the story.  As on any other Thursday, the sessions ends with some refreshments and a chance to play with toys.  As before, we do not charge to come to the Toddler Service.
