Car parking
Riverside does NOT have its own car park.
The map below shows the location of the town centre car parks. The nearest car park is right next to Riverside Church on Southgate, which offers both long- and short-stay parking..
All of the car parks are Pay and Display, except Tesco which is for customers only (but allows parking for up to three hours), Station Road, and the NKDC car park on Eastgate which is only available at weekends. The Market Place, Money's Yard, Sainsburys and Jermyn Street car parks are all short stay, and free on Sundays. Station Road has six free parking spaces, but these are often full from early in the morning. The Eastgate car park allows free parking for one hour (with a ticket), and both short and long stay parking. Westgate is also long stay, but is also small. The current car parking charges are shown below the map so that you can come prepared.
Away from the centre, you can often find on street parking - please park with consideration for the residents and other road users.
